A THROWBACK TO SUMMERPROGRAM 2023
We are proud to share that the re-branded edition of ‘SummerProgram 2023’ was a beautiful & rewarding success.
Some numbers:
SummerSchool 2023, that was 5 weeks, 60 classes & workshops, 3 levels, 4 programs, 800 participants, 33 teachers, and an ∞ amount of dancing joy.
SummerResidencies 2023, that was 5 weeks of free studio space in 4 studios for 24 participants with 4 coaches and 3 thematic labs for more than 30 young makers & professionals.

‘SummerProgram 2023’ wrapped up with a public open air film screening of "Playtime" by Jacques Tati, in collaboration with Mouv, Rosas and Kinograph, with the support of the French embassy, the municipality of Forest and Ten Weyngaert.
AN IMPRESSION OF "HAND POWER, HORSE LABOR AND DANCE” (PART 2) - AUGUST 2023 A SUMMER MASTER CLASS IN THE FIELDS
For the second time, PARTS organized a workshop in the fields this summer - exploring a range of (traditional) techniques from agriculture: mowing with the scythe, wood lumbering, haymaking, pulling exercises with draught horses, making fire, cooking together - guided by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Cassiel Gaube (dance), Corentin Hannon and Eva Fillet (from Cordeva / horses) and Kevin Lambeets (from Zeis & Bijl / scythes).

How to slow down in a world full of impulses?
Eleven participants explored techniques and repetitive movements at the intersection between dance and agriculture.

Next year's edition builds on the previous succes and re-hosts our well-known SummerSchool, takes the SummerResidencies a step further and elaborates the SummerCommunity!
SummerSchool 2024 offers classes, workshops and Rosas repertoire for amateurs, students and professional dancers from 16 years.
Over the course of five weeks, P.A.R.T.S. will open its doors to create an encounter between teachers, choreographers and dancers, exchanging knowledge and experience. The program includes yoga and other body practices, technical classes (contemporary technique and ballet), Rosas repertoire and various project workshops.
SummerSchool is open for amateurs, students and professional dancers from 16 years. The program is organized in several levels.
With SummerResidencies 2024 P.A.R.T.S. and Rosas aim to meet a real need for workspace and creative meeting places in Brussels' vibrant arts scene.
Besides free studio space with coaching in our professionally equipped dance studios, we also offer thematic labs for young makers & professionals from 18 years.

SummerCommunity 2024 aims at creating a lively atmosphere during our SummerProgram by offering free public activities to the participants of SummerSchool and SummerResidencies, the broader dance community and the neighborhood.
Expect sharings, feedback sessions, public lectures, film screenings and more.
