OPENING OF THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-24

On Monday September 4th, we opened the new academic year 2023-24 for 39 Training-students into their 2nd year of the Bachelor Program, and for 12 STUDIOS-students into their 2nd and graduating year of the Master program.
For the first semester, we also welcome 1 Erasmus+ exchange student into the Training program, coming from the Stockholm University of the Arts.

We started the new school year with a collective class for Training and STUDIOS in the park led by Rakesh Sukesh.

Throughout the week, the Training students will participate in workshops with Haman Mpadire, Caroline Mendonça and Rakesh Sukesh. They will take part in several talking sessions, guided walks in Brussels and end the week with an outdoors collective improv session guided by Paola Madrid.On Monday afternoon the Training students were invited for the performance of ‘Love. Death. My life with Ting-Yu. Oh wait, I am you.’ by alumni Tarek Halaby & Sue-Yeon Youn.

For the STUDIOS students, the introduction week is composed of movement research classes with Milo Slayers, group talks and a workshop on ‘Writing as an a artist: on the theoretical production in artistic research’, led by Bojana Cvejić with guest teachers Jeroen Peeters and Marija Cetinić.
