Looking back: SummerLab

This summer, P.A.R.T.S. SummerSchool welcomed SummerLab, a week-long workshop organised by Platform K and guided by choreographer Dan Daw (UK/Australia), together with Sarah Blanc (UK/Ireland).

Bringing together experienced disabled and non-disabled performers, the workshop explored the artistic approach of Dan Daw Creative Projects (DDCP), working with improvisation and text to develop choreographic material around themes of individual and collective resilience.

The week offered a space for exchange, movement and collaboration, bringing together performers and makers who feel they operate at the fringes. Through the work, participants explored different ways of creating, moving and working together.
