P.A.R.T.S. PRESENTS is the name for public performances of PARTS students, organised by the school, presenting the results of workshops and projects within the curriculum. It stands next to the more informal PARTS@WORK presentations which are organised and curated by the students.

Songunsung by Mira Maria Studer
Wading through the sound waves of laments (aka love songs) stemming out of mouths from 1608 to 2024 – a voice before meaning broadcasts them into the theatre space. They seem oh so familiar. They touch you but also feel distant. Like the foreign tongue of a loved one. The mouth estranges them, warps their time, body and space together. It is a process of dislocating the laments that have been put into our hands.
Concept and performance: Mira Maria Studer
Artistic support: Carina Premer
Company and outside eye: Jessica Allemann
Costume design: Dustin Kenel
Costume conception: Laura Stellacci
Mentor: Carolina Mendonça, Bojana Cvejić
Special thanks to: Géraldine Haas, Joshua Wicke, Juliette Uzor, Kopano Maroga, Luis Ramirez Muñoz, Veza Fernandez, the STUDIOS group.

Untitled (I will not do it for you) by Alice Bröker
Celebrating before winning — grieving before losing — walking before recovering
In a place between a beginning and an end, Untitled (I will not do it for you), wonders what backwardness is and how to practice it. The main character goes from slow-motion to repeat, to rewind and to replay, morphing from an athlete to a supporter, and from a golfer to a killer. This solo imagines backwardness as an inverted logic, striving for frustration as a form of virtuosity, seizing the stage as a place of transformation where other narratives and temporalities can exist.
Created and performed by Alice Bröker
Text by Alice Bröker
Mentored by Anya Fedoronchuk, Adèle Schemitte & Femke Gyselinck
Soundtrack: Topdown - Channel Tres, Doorman - slowthai, Mura Masa

And My Band Of Lonely Objects (vol. 3) by Marikki Nyfors
And My Band Of Lonely Objects is a work that deals with emotional subjects and topics such as: yearning for true validation, overload(s) of information, being overwhelmed, depression and denial, plastic taking over the organic (but not the organ), and the immense power and meaning of songs and how they behave as containers for feelings and for memories and for generational experiences. It's a collage of sound, dance, video, text, acting, and objects. It's a show!

It’s just a phase by Nicolas Dang
This work questions the notion of masculinity perpetuated through oppressive norms and, consequently, the state of internalised homophobia. Using a play of contradictions and observing moments of sensuality and susceptibility, the music of Steve Reich begins to shift in conjunction with shifting power dynamics, and we begin to see an abstraction of experiences and a transformation of these norms.
Choreographed by: Nicolas Dang with the collaboration of Rünno Tammela, Samuele Baschieri and Jacob Bousset
Performed by: Jacob Bousset, Samuele Baschieri, Rünno Tammela and Nicolas Dang
Warning: mention of masturbation and homophobia
egg___distance by Marika Suzuki
At some points you cannot see her body directly, but she is certainly performing live. You might feel her existence with your skin. Just like her experience in school, “I’m here but I don’t feel I’m here”. She reveals herself is like slowly spinning a thread dyed with her origin and memory. Within this thread, there is a sense of frustration with herself and what’s happening in the world nowadays. It’s welcome to enter her thread spoken in Butoh language.
Choreographed and performed by Marika Suzuki
Filming: Mimbi Lubansu
Supporter: Christine De Smedt
