This was P.A.R.T.S. PRESENTS
For five weeks, students in the 3rd year of the Bachelor Training program were given the choice to focus on personal work or participate in workshops exploring the repertoire of Rosas and Trisha Brown.
During P.A.R.T.S. PRESENTS, the results of this intensive working period were showcased in three curated programs.
In the repertoire workshops, students not only learned to embody excerpts from the original pieces but also had the opportunity to personalise the material and create their own variations and interpretations. The transmission and guidance of this process were led by Johanne Saunier (Rosas danst Rosas), Laura-Maria Poletti (Fase), and Diane Madden & Jacob Storer (Astral Convertible, Locus). All of them brought first-hand experience with the original choreographies.
For personal work, students formulated their own artistic proposals and received individual coaching. The goal was not necessarily to work toward a polished performance; instead, the emphasis was on the process.
