Study Days Figures of Fascism
Figures of Fascism and Antifascist Solidarities is a three-day programme of study days taking place at P.A.R.T.S. from Thursday 17 September to Saturday 19 September. The programme of performances, films, lectures and debates is curated by Bojana Cvejić in collaboration with Kaaitheater, KANAL-Centre Pompidou and Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo.
In the context of contemporary fascist globalization, cultural workers, activists and militants across different struggles increasingly recognise shared concerns. Antifascism re-emerges as a common horizon, calling for solidarity with those most affected by the rise of the far right.
The programme explores how anti-immigration policies, racialised police violence, and cuts to the arts, education, media and research are connected to broader systems of inequality, militarisation and extraction. It also asks how solidarity can take shape in practice—through collective work, shared knowledge and mutual support.
For this second chapter, we gather at P.A.R.T.S. with students and staff. Over three days, the programme features performances, films, lectures and debates, including La Candidate by undocumented women from Brussels-based political organisations (with Anna Rispoli and allies), contributions from Valeria Graziano and Tomislav Medak (Pirate Care), artist Dora García, writer and queer activist Sarah Schulman and a range of militants across two generations.
Figures of Fascism and Antifascist Solidarities is part of the research project Choreographing Fascism (KHiO Oslo), led by Bojana Cvejić and collaborators.
More information and tickets are available via the Kaaitheater website.
