The Programme Committee is composed of the deputy director (chair), the director, the coordinator, tutors from Training and STUDIOS and a number of freelance teachers who represent and are responsible for the conception of certain elements in the programme (theory, technique, student creation, music, …) or bring in specific expertise. Next to their input on the content of the programme and the guest teachers , the Programme Committee has an advisory role about pedagogical matters in the school (artistic vision, the structure of the curriculum, evaluation procedures, auditions, …) and has five plenary meetings a year .
In addition to these plenary meetings, the Programme Committee can also set up smaller working groups, zooming in on specific themes that lead to policy recommendations, in cooperation with students, alumni, experts or relevant actors in the field. In 2021-2022, there was a working group Against Discriminations leading amongst others towards the Erasmus+ Research on Diversity in Higher Dance Education, in 2024 a working group started to reshape the MA Studios programme for 2026.
