SummerSchool is a 5-week vibrant teaching and meeting place in Brussels for all dance enthusiasts.

SummerSchool offers classes, workshops and Rosas repertoire for amateurs, students and professional dancers from 16 years old. Over the course of five weeks, P.A.R.T.S. opens its doors to create an encounter between teachers, choreographers and dancers, exchanging knowledge and experience. The programs consist of a body studies class (Yoga, Pilates or Body Work), a technique class (contemporary or ballet), Rosas repertoire or a workshop. The absolute beginners program is only an afternoon workshop.

SummerSchool 2025 takes place from Monday July 14 to Friday August 15.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

SummerSchool is open for amateurs, students and professional dancers from 16 years. The program is organised in four levels: absolute beginners, elementary, intermediate and advanced.

PRACTICAL

We offer 5 parallel programs per week: 1 absolute beginners program, 1 elementary program, 2 intermediate programs and 1 advanced program. The programs are specially conceived for each level. In order to ensure the best experience for everybody, you can only register for a full week program (either full day or mornings only). It’s not possible to book single classes.

All classes will be taught in English.

You can enjoy a freshly prepared macrobiotic menu (soup, meal, dessert) in our kitchen each day. We use only local, organic ingredients, and every dish is made with care following macrobiotic principles. Spots are limited and need to be reserved per week via the registration form.

LEVELS

The Absolute Beginners level is designed for anyone interested in contemporary dance, especially those with little to no prior experience. It offers a welcoming introduction to the fundamentals of movement and contemporary dance.

The Elementary level is suited for dance enthusiasts who have taken occasional classes or workshops but do not train regularly. This program allows participants to explore the basics of contemporary dance at a comfortable pace.

The Intermediate level is designed for dancers who train daily or at least seven hours per week, providing a deeper engagement with contemporary techniques.

The Advanced level is for dancers who train intensively (more than ten hours per week), have a strong technical foundation and have experience with (semi-)professional dance companies.
