Anne Pajunen FI/BE
Anne Pajunen (FI/BE) is a dance artist, actor and dance and theatre maker. Her practice explores movement, language, and human behavior, focusing on communication and connection. As a performer she has worked with Alexandra Bachzetsis, Troubleyn Jan Fabre, Finnish National Theatre, Company Carl Knif, Hiatus Daniel Linehan, Dafna Maimon, Company Gabrielle Moleta, Tino Sehgal and Jeremy Shaw among others. Her own works include Encounters in the Moving Glass Yard (2023), We Need to Talk About the Future (2020), Matchseller (2019), The Heroic Moment (2018), and Amy (2014). She is also a guest teacher in dance and movement at Luca School of Arts, Theatre Academy of Finland, and Hiatus dance company’s Open Monday classes in Brussels. She has an MA in Dance from the Theatre Academy of Finland, an MA in Acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, and a P.A.R.T.S. Research Diploma. She was first introduced to Yoga in 1999 at the Helsinki Ashtanga Yoga School as a supporting practice to her dance training. Over the years she has kept familiarizing herself with different approaches and the practice of yoga has become an integral part of her artistic journey. In 2022 she completed a one-year Yoga Teacher Training course (RYT200h) at Hima&Happiness, Helsinki.
